What we install and service

Five systems, one crew

If it moves and it is bolted to your building, it is ours. We do not sell one product line and bend every opening to fit it. The opening decides the door.

01

High-speed doors

Rigid aluminum spiral and fabric roll doors for openings that cycle all day. Faster cycles mean less conditioned air out the door and fewer vehicles waiting.

  • Rigid spiral, insulated slats
  • Fabric roll, single piece curtain
  • Vision sections on request
  • Traffic light and loop controls
02

Sectional & rolling steel

The workhorse doors. Insulated sectionals for dock positions, rolling steel where you need security and a small headroom envelope.

  • Insulated and non-insulated sections
  • Rolling steel service doors
  • Heavy-duty commercial spec
  • Operators, chain hoist to jackshaft
03

Loading dock equipment

Levelers, seals, shelters, bumpers, restraints and dock lights. Sold and installed as a package, because that is how a dock position actually works.

  • Hydraulic and mechanical levelers
  • Compression seals and head-curtain shelters
  • Laminated bumpers and wheel restraints
  • Dock lights and communication systems
04

Architectural & hydraulic openings

The openings that are part of the building rather than a hole in it. Counterweight and actuator-driven architectural panels, plus one-piece hydraulic and liftstrap bifold doors for spans a conventional door cannot cover.

  • Vertical lift, bifold and stacking panels
  • One-piece hydraulic, opens to a canopy
  • Liftstrap bifold, no cables or counterweights
  • Glass, aluminium and custom cladding
05

HVLS fans

High-volume, low-speed fans for warehouses and manufacturing floors. Moves the air a 20-foot ceiling traps, at a fraction of what the same comfort costs in tonnage.

  • Supply, install and commission
  • Controls and integration
  • Service and blade inspection
  • Paired with high-speed doors

Specialty doors

The door decides the line

We are not a one-catalog shop and we do not sub-contract the install. Six lines, sorted by the kind of opening you actually have. We are certified installers on Rytec, Renlita and EVO-Doors, direct dealers for Haas and ASTA, and the Central Florida dealer for QMI Qompact hurricane shutters.

Bifold & hydraulic

Schweiss big-span openings

One-piece hydraulic doors that swing up to become a canopy, and liftstrap bifold doors that lift upward instead of outward. No cables, pulleys or counterweights, which is fewer parts to service over the life of the door.

  • One-piece hydraulic, opens to an awning
  • Automatic latching systems
  • Insulation and weather seal packages

Goes in: aircraft hangars, fire stations, agricultural and equipment buildings, riding arenas, and any opening too wide for a conventional door.

Hurricane shutters

QMI Qompact rolling shutters

Rolling storm shutters that disappear when you do not need them. The Qompact uses a patented nesting slat that coils tighter than a conventional shutter, which shrinks the box above the opening by roughly half and keeps it off the face of the building.

  • Smallest shutter box in the category
  • Up to 19 ft 8 in wide, up to 24 ft high
  • 15 ft of height into an 8 in box
  • Hinge designed against water and sand ingress

Goes on: storefronts and restaurant openings, balconies and lanais, hospitality, and any glass a building owner wants covered before a storm.

Certified installer applies to Rytec, Renlita and EVO-Doors. Direct dealer applies to Haas and ASTA America. QMI Qompact is carried as a Central Florida dealer. Product details above come from each manufacturer's own published material; the specification for your opening is confirmed in writing before anything is ordered.

Loading dock

A dock position is six things, not one

Replacing a leveler and leaving a torn seal in place buys you a month. We quote the position, not the part, then tell you which pieces can wait a season and which cannot.

Planned maintenance

Service agreements

A high-speed door in a busy dock does more cycles in a month than a house door does in five years. Planned maintenance is cheaper than the breakdown it prevents, and it is the only way to keep a manufacturer warranty intact.

About us

Taking care of all your door needs

That line is on our logo, and it is the whole job description. Superior Industry Solutions started in 2021 and works out of Orlando on commercial and industrial buildings across Florida.

What we actually spend our days on is high-speed doors. Parking structures, distribution centers, food and beverage plants, dealerships and high-rise garages. Alongside them, the loading dock equipment behind the door and the HVLS fans over the floor, because those three things fail together and it is better if one company owns all of them.

We are not a call center with a truck roster. There are five of us, the owner still runs jobs, and the phone gets answered by somebody who knows what a drum wheel costs.

Questions we get

FAQ

How fast is a high-speed door, really?

A standard rigid spiral opens at up to 60 inches per second. A conventional sectional does around 8. On an opening that cycles 300 times a day, that difference is hours of open door time, which is conditioned air, insects, and drivers waiting.

Which manufacturer will you put in my opening?

Whichever one the opening calls for. Rytec for anything that cycles all day, Renlita and EVO-Doors where the opening is part of the architecture, Schweiss where the span is too wide for a conventional door, Haas for sectionals and ASTA for rolling steel and fire doors. We are certified installers on Rytec, Renlita and EVO-Doors, and direct dealers for Haas and ASTA. We will tell you why we picked the one we picked.

Can you work on a door another company installed?

Yes. Most of our service work is on doors we did not install. Send a photo of the data plate on the header and we can usually tell you what it needs before we come out.

What does a dock position cost to bring back to standard?

It depends on which of the six pieces are gone. A bumper is cheap. A leveler is not. We quote the position and tell you what can wait a season, so you can spread the work across a budget year instead of doing it all at once.

Do you handle the permit?

We provide the manufacturer documentation that goes with the permit application, and we make sure the door that arrives matches what was submitted. On new construction the general contractor usually pulls the permit itself.

Do you do residential garage doors?

Our work is commercial and industrial. If you are a homeowner we are happy to point you at somebody who does houses all day.

Do you run a 24 hour emergency line?

No. We are not going to advertise a number nobody answers at two in the morning. Call or text the office line and we will tell you honestly when we can be there. Service agreement customers get scheduled first.

Tell us about the opening

The more you can tell us about the door count, the sizes and where the building is, the closer the first number will be. Photos help more than anything else.

Thanks, that is on its way. We read every one of these and we will come back to you with questions about the opening before we quote it.
